As the dust settles on the 2054 GBC season, Tokyo and Sydney lick their wounds dreaming of what could have been and the Monarchs celebrate an inexplicable first championship after back to back 100 loss seasons. But its the other end of the table that we're focusing on today, Buenos Aires owner Tariq bin Habib was left shocked as his team slumped to a 66-96 record, the teams worst since the 2054 season.
The teams ERA skyrocketed from 3.79 in 2053 (Best in GBC) to 4.68 (Worst in GBC) with young Ace Tulon Koruturk being most impacted seemingly unenthused by his oncoming FA status, this will have certainly cost the young Turk a few million. On the other side of the diamond 29 year old brit Taylor Barfoot (Barfeet!!) slumped to 91 OPS+ putting up -0.6WAR, thats right, the 6 time All Star earning 11 million (1/5 of the teams cap) performed to the standard of a man with no feet.
The hunt for a new GM has begun with rumors swirling that an unknown Australian is lined up imminently to take the role.

Good luck this season! (Also yeah I’m still feeling the pain of missing the playoffs with Sydney)
