It was a damp squib of a finish to the season, they may have finished with a 7-4 win on the final day of the regular season against the Sao Paulo Pilots on the road but that win just papered over the cracks of the final week and the season. The win followed 10 defeats in a row, the injurie could be used as an excuse specially the Quinn Greene one but put simply the Centaurs weren't good enough.
Changes have been promised by the ownership and will be made during the off season, it's thought those changes will be wide spread but mostly in the pitching department. A source close to the Centaurs stated that the hitting as carried the Athens Ball Club for far too long, it's time the pitching pulled it's weight.
