The Week That Was #2

Changes are a coming, if rumours are true the Athens Fighting Centaurs will be a different beast next season and for seasons to come. GM Neil Thomas, Manager Sheldon Cooper and Bench Coach Reece MacMinn have met on numerous occasions to work out how the Fighting Centaurs got from a 99 win season to a poor ?? win season in a matter of months with pretty much the same roster for both seasons.
As we went to press its rumoured that 10 of the current active roster who are out of contract at the end of the season will not be offered contracts, Kun 'The Scorpion' Chin, Xian Ling, Boris Aplechnev, Don Castor, José Domínguez, Wally Geoghegan, Beni Ihilani, Terrence Kelly, Nacho Méndez and In-sik Park will be wondering if they'll be looking for a new place to call home next season.
After reporting last week about the injury bug that as swept the Centaurs this season, it's struck again but this time it's hit the big man. Quinn Greene will play no further part in the season going down with a back strain, it's actually Quinn's first injury since 2053 when he suffered another back strain but it wasn't a long term worry then so it's hoped he'll start next season as fresh as a daisy.
