Going into the 3rd game of the series Athens trailed Bucharest 5-11 in head to head games so far this season, sadly for The Fighting Centaurs they now trail Bucharest 5-12 after losing 2-3 (10) in extra innings.

Athens didn't start of to well against the Red Crescents, if Athens are to challenge for a play off spot they need to win more one run games as this 3-4 defeat took there record to 7-12 in one run games. There 1 run records improved in the second game against Riyadh with a 6-5 victory, Athens took the series 2-1with a 14-7 comfortable win.
Mumbai Metro Stars
Athens will have to work harder to try and catch up ground on the Metro Stars having lost the first game against Mumbai 6-8 but came back strong in the second game 13-2, what they need now is another victory in the upcoming game 3.
