Athens rollercoaster season continues with a 3-6 loss, a 6 game losing streak followed by a back to back loss. Things did get better in the second game when The Fighting Centaurs took the game 8-2 thanks to a top performance by Liam Johnston pitching 5 shut out innings, Athens hit another 8 runs in game 3 however this didn't end in a victory but a 8-10 defeat as Aeneas Pittakis gave up 7 runs in 14 hits. For the third game in a row Athens notched up 8 runs but didn't suffer a defeat as the Athens pitchers kept the Tripoli bats down to 4 runs in a 8-4 win.
Mumbai Metro Stars
The bats may have been hot against the Piranhas scoring 27 runs in a 4 game series but they cooled down dramatically in the first 2 games of the Mumbai series, firstly a crushing 2-10 mauling, followed by a closer 2-4 loss.
