With Opening Day nearly upon us, it's time to take a look at how the Centaurs will shape up on the field this season as we've whittled down to a 27-man roster.

Vs LHP there will be a pair of platoons with rookie Elton Warr leading off in the DH slot and Andy Seekins subbing Terada out at 1B.

The rest of the bench will be C Adalgiso Bosendorfer, 1B Vinnie Youngberry, 2B/SS Wagaw Fakihi and OF Telma Puga

Overall the offense will certainly score, with a pretty fearsome 2 through 7 in the lineup and complimented with good gloves and decent bats in the rest of the lineup. The bench is probably a tad light.

Overall when we're pitching, the offense will certainly score. Definitely thin on the mound and management has made it clear that they won't be bashful pulling guys and moving them around as performance dictates.

I think in general, 2nd place is definitely attainable but it would take a lot of close game luck to really challenge Mumbai in the regular season. They won't be out of many games though, no matter how bad the starter stinks up the joint.
