Luis González put pen to paper on a $2,400,000 1 year contract with The Fighting Centaurs, the outfielder will likely take the active roster spot of Elton Warr who it's felt will improve with a spell in the minors.

González a native of Guatemala may offer an improvement with the glove but also will be more solid than Éamon Sherrill who will drop to the bench to make way for González in the line up, however it's the bat of González that Athens will be hoping will improve a team that needs to score more runs.
