Athens Fighting Centaurs are awarded a franchise in the United Middle East Baseball Association.

Sunday 24th February 2041

Athens Fighting Centaurs appoint their first ever GM, GM Neil Thomas.

Wednesday 26th February.

The Centaurs play their first ever game in the UMEBA against the Beirut Cedars in a Spring Training game, Athens win 7-5 at Spring Ballpark.

Tuesday 1st April.

The Centaurs play their first ever official game at Ballpark of Beirut, against the Beirut Cedars. Not only do they record their first win but also their first official shut out in a 4-0 win. Chris Carter is the first to reach base on a walk, other firsts are Chip 'Sarge' Saunders (hit), Maxim Makin (win), Akli Yoofi (save).

Wednesday 2nd April.

In a 3-1 win against the Beirut Cedars, Esteban Cuervo records the Centaurs first ever home run.

Saturday 5th April.

Athens play their first ever official home game at Piraeus Park, a 6-9 defeat to the Bucharest Impalers watched by a crowd of 24,754.

Sunday 6th April.

Fighting Centaurs record their first ever win at Piraeus Park winning 4-3 against the Bucharest Impalers.

Wednesday 9th April.

Bartolo Gomez goes 4-4 with 1 HR and 3 RBI against the Beirut Cedars in a 4-3 win at Piraeus Park, becoming the first Athens player to win the UMEBA BANC Player of the Week Award.

Monday 14th April.

In a 3-6 defeat to the Cairo Chariot Archers BC, Cairo becomes the first team to sweep the Centaurs in a series.

Wednesday 23rd April.

Athens record their highest run score in a 13-9 win in Beirut against the Cedars.

Saturday 26th April.

In a 4-16 defeat against the Jerusalem Hebrew Hammers record their highest runs against in franchise history.

Thursday 1st May

Esteban Cuervo voted April Player of the Month.

Athens win 4-1 against Kuwait City, it is the first sweep in a series in Centaurs history.

Thursday 8th May.

The Centaurs record their second series sweep in a 8-4 win over the Jerusalem Hebrew Hammers.

Tuesday 15th May

Istanbul join Cairo in becoming the second team to sweep the Centaurs with a 7-2 win.

Thursday 22nd May

After being called up only 3 days prior to his first major league appearance, Rudy Forrest pitches 8 innings of shut out baseball giving up only 5 hits in a 1-0 win at the Manama Pearls. In the same game Yoofi records his league leading 15 save.
