Hold My Log - 57.08 - Report, Fiscus Arrested at Spring Training

Court documents have been uncovered that report that former Portland Lumberjacks assistant general manager Kate Fiscus was arrested two weeks ago in Tombstone, Arizona, site of the Lumberjacks' spring training complex. According to the documents, Fiscus was arrested in late March on charges of public intoxication, public nudity, driving while under the influence, and soliciting sexual favors. She was reportedly booked and released on $50,000 bail and has a court hearing this week.
Fiscus was the assistant general manager in Portland for 11 seasons from 2045 through 2055 before she unceremoniously saw her contract not renewed by the Portland front office. There is some speculation she was let go on purpose. Others have reported the organization knew about these sort of occurances with Kate and the time was right to let her go. There are many though who feel the front office was fine with escapades and just fell asleep at the wheel and forgot to renew her contract.
Public videoing of the arrest, which will not be released due to the graphic nature of the video, is shown as hearing Kate yelling "Fuck Shoeless. Fuck Wilson. Fuck the BBA. Fuck you Grange!"
The final one is a little odd and has BBA officials investigating Kate's outburst. Rumors began swirling just this week that after a report of Portland Lumberjacks prospect Kent Grange's sudden boost in ability that perhaps he had "hooked up" with the former AGM who had a history of liking "the younger ballplayer." Perhaps a shunned Kate couldn't handle the departure of Grange to the big leagues.
Kent Grange declined to comment on any rumors. Portland owner David Wallace released a statement this week regarding the issue:

Reporters tried to get a comment from General Manager Chris Wilson, who Kate has a long history with dating back to their days in Madison but he too declined comment.We feel bad for Kate and wish her the best in her journey to overcome whatever illness and addiction she is battling. She spent a long time with us in Portland. She made BBA history as the first woman Assistant General Manager. But with a court hearing still pending, we feel it's best to not comment on any other issues at this time other than we wish Kate the best.
