Portland Lumberjacks owner David Wallace announced today that the Trail in Multnomah, home of the Lumberjacks since they came into the league in 2040, will undergo it's second expansion since it's creation. Wallace announced in a press conference today that 5,000 additional seats will be added to "The Trail", pushing the capacity of the ballpark to 50,000. The new seats will be called "The Brewster Boxes".

"As we continue to grow as a franchise, we feel it is imperative to continually accommodate some of the greatest fans in the league" commented Wallace today. "By adding more seats, we can welcome in even more fans to this great stadium to watch this team that has now appeared in two of the last 3 Brewster Series. It's also important to us as an organization and to our fan base to show we are committed to being a great franchise for the long term. We want to show we are capable to and committed to being a franchise like Yellow Springs, Sacramento, and Vegas. Teams who annually welcome in over 4 million fans and have therefore have the revenue flow to maintain themselves as a stable franchise. Our goal in 2052 is to continue our pursuit of getting closer to that 4 million fan goal."

Wallace's goal of 4 million will be lofty one for 2052, even with the additional Brewster Boxes. If the teams sells out every game next season, the projections show 4,050,000 as a maximum attendance.

"Not if we make the post-season again" added Wallace to the projections. "We have expectations and standards for 2052."

Reports are the team is using the added revenue from last year's post season run to fund the renovations. The team profited over $37,000,000 last season thanks in large part to their post-season run to the Brewster Series.
