Truth be told, the PR department has just been a little busy of late but is starting to come out of hibernation. Slowly. As the department awakens from its summer slumber, many around the league will be pleased to see that Portland is still in first place in the Frick League Pacific. A place many pre-season predictors did not have them in 2051. Much like 2050. But unlike last year, this year could continue to be a dogfight not only for the division but for a spot in the post-season.
Portland sits a mere 1.5 games atop the division over Sacramento but is only 6.5 games from being out of the post-season all together. Some would say that's a pretty comfortable lead. But not the Lumberjacks.
"I remember all to well the near collapse of 2049" Wilson stated, rubbing the crust from his eyes and trying to block the bright, 9 AM sun from his eyes.
