It appears the first and only female front office person in the league is not happy. Rumors surfaced today that Portland Lumberjacks Assistant General Manager Kate Fiscus was unhappy when it appeared she was being replaced in the Lumberjacks front office by another woman. Upon uncovering another female executive making decisions this past week without her approval, Fiscus reportedly left Portland team offices unhappy.

"I know Wilson has been busy of late, but to fail to notify me of any changes in personnel in the front office is just bush league and reeks of amateur decisions" Fiscus was heard commenting as she stormed out of the office. "If things go as rumored in the league, perhaps my services will be made available to other teams in the future. But I will say this, damn that chick was fine."

Fiscus then reportedly sped out of Portland offices heading to an undisclosed secret meeting of sorts as the team prepared to face off against Sacramento this past week.

Both Wilson and team CEO David Wallace were difficult to reach this past week, but after hearing of the news of Fiscus' hissy fit, Wilson reportedly reached out and called the Assistant General Manager and smoothed things over. Upon arriving back in Portland this past week, Wilson put all controversy to bed....

"I failed to notify Ms. Fiscus that, due to my busy nature of being on the road, I would may need some assistance with the team on a closer level. Needless to say Kate apologized for her actions and everything is good to go moving forward once she realized that "fine chick" doing team duties was my wife."

Wilson concluded by stating that "since the team went 4-3 this week, including taking 2 of 3 from Sacramento, and is inching ever closer to .500" that the team may have to invest in more "female help" moving forward.
