Back to back 2-4 sims have the Lumberjacks sitting at 45-65 on the season. Meaning the team needs to go 18-34 over the final 52 games of the season to avoid a third straight 100 loss campaign. The team's .409 winning percentage currently has them on pace for 66 wins and a 66-96 season. While clearly not good enough to be happy about, it would mark an improvement over last season and a three year improvement trend. #TheMasterPlan

Yeah losing 4 straight to the red-hot Black Sox just flat out sucks. We entered that series 2-0 against Chicago this season and that all fell to hell! We did knock off California though to improve to just 8 games under .500 against the Pacific. We would really push on that number but it would just fuel to a certain narrative in the league so therefore I'll refrain from making any more comments on that subject.
Pitcher of the Sim
Norberto Asconcio
It wasn't much, but it was something. Asconcio allowed a run on 2 hits while walking 3 and striking out 4 in the 8-4 win over Chicago. He lasted 5.2 innings but got the win. He improved to 8-7 on the season despite having a -1.0 WAR. This coming from our team leader in WINS.
Hitter of the Sim
Miguel Cortez
Cortez hit .318/.375/.455 this week while hitting a homerun and adding an RBI. He did all of this while continuing to play top notch defense in CF. With an 11.5 ZR in centerfield, Cortez is likely front runner for the Diamond Award in CF this season for the Frick League.
Sorry Sack of Shit of the Sim
Vincente Venalde
Our lone all-star this season, Venalde has been pretty solid for us. But he earns the award for the sim because he entered a game against Chicago this week with the score tied at 1-1. It took Venalde all of 4 pitches to end the game and send the Chicago faithful home happy. A leadoff double was followed by a walk-off homerun. You give up walk-off bombs to Vancouver or Chicago, and you'll find yourself with the SSSS Award.

#Fakenews ... The lamestream Portland media is pushing out this bogus narrative that they beat us 8-4, when it was California they beat, another one of those hippy dippy Pacific Division collectives they try to pass off as a baseball team. Nice try Wilson, but we see what you’re up to with your false flag narrative of beating a Heartland team.7teen wrote: ↑Mon May 04, 2020 3:14 pm

But it won’t do you any good. We’re speaking truth to your farm-to-table power!

The Pacific press corps will stoop to endless lows in order to make people think they're what they aren't.
