Following the Lumberjacks recent losing streak that saw the Lumberjacks go 0-3 in Vancouver, Portland General Manager Chris Wilson announced at a briefing today that "heads will roll" due to the losses. When asked who those heads may belong to, Wilson went into a tirade.

"Well for starters, Tarafah can pretty much kiss his fucking job good bye" Wilson commented regarding the future of Lumberjacks manager Tarafah bin Bahir. "Aside from trying to pronounce and go forbid spell his name, the asshat couldn't manage his way out of a paper bag. I guess that's what we get for hiring some random person walking down the streets of Portland to manage a big league club. We have already begun a search for the new manager for next season."

Wilson failed to name any likely candidates but did state the team was not in the market for a high priced manager, but would prefer one with a little more experience than bin Bahir and one with an easier name to yell!

When asked who else may be punished for the losses in Vancouver, Wilson didn't hesitate "Scotts Joe" Wilson yelled. "Did you know that dude is FROM VANCOUVER!? I'm not sure I'd have allowed him on this team had I known that. And what kind of a nickname is 'Dale'? The guy has a nickname for a real name. Clearly he was helping his hometown club this weekend."

Wilson is referencing the fact that two of the three losses fell on Joe in the series. Joe allowed a run in the bottom of the 12th inning for the loss in game 2 of the series. With the Lumberjacks up 2-1 in the finale and trying to salvage one win, Joe allowed 5 runs in the 8th inning for consecutive losses.

"Of course I used to know a guy by the name of Scottsdale Joe. The guy was great at making banners" Wilson added.

Beating Chicago Didn't Ease the Pain
Despite bouncing back by beating Chicago in the opener of the next series, Wilson wasn't too pleased and continued to state that bin Bahir was gone after the season. When asked if at least forcing a season split with the Black Sox meant anything, Wilson responded "It helps some, but Vancouver is our rival."

When asked if the team retaliated for any of the planned "towing of buses" that was to happen in Chicago, Wilson responded: "Honestly, I had nothing planned. I was too mad about Vancouver to really plan any retaliation. But I'll check with my assistant and see if anything was done."

FYI, Kate (her name anyway) is going to figure in the Little Cal pig poo dump in rather a major way ...

Haha you’ll beat me to any storylines. Busy few weeks at work. My students take state tests in 3 weeks and I’m busy all day preparing them for it. Can’t stay on top of writing right now unfortunately. Though I try.

When you write in a shared world, things happen. :)

Chris - no worries, man! The longer Kate remains a mystery, the better, really. There will be plenty of Portland threads for you to pick up when you have time!
