We Got Wood - 40.02 - Short Season Has It's Team

After getting in contact with the Commissioner's office on the parameters of the Short Season minor league, the Lumberjacks have announced the location and mascot of their Short Season A squad.
"We had to check with the commissioner's office and see exactly where we needed to look" said Lumberjacks GM Chris Wilson. "We thought we needed to identify a location in the Florida/Caribbean region but we needed clarification. We got that today. We acted quickly and reached out to some local areas in the Caribbean and got our location. The location will be the Antigua and the team will be called the Antigua Tikis"
The commissioner's office had located temporarily the team in North Las Vegas. The office then reached out to the Lumberjacks front office to find a better location that was more geographically suited for the Short A team. "Travelling from the Caribbean region to Las Vegas for games just wasn't going to work" said one representative from the office. We asked the Portland team to get us a location as soon as possible, and they did."
Here is what the Antigua Tikis will look like when they take to the field in 2040.
