We Got Wood - 39.5 - Lumberjacks Announce Triple-A Team

Not only will the city of Portland be getting its new BBA team in the 2040 season, but a handful of smaller sites will be housing the Lumberjacks minor league affiliates in 2040 as well. The site of the organization's Triple-A team was announced today by team CEO David Wallace at yet another luncheon for season ticket holders.

"We are pleased to announce that the location of our Triple A team will be in Quincy, Washington" Wallace announced today. "Quincy is a rural area between Seattle and Spokane that we thought would be a perfect location for a minor league squad. We also felt we needed a Triple-A team somewhat close to us here in Portland for the eventual call-ups and send-downs between our big league team and the minor leagues. Quincy will just be a few hours travel between here and there."

Wallace also unveiled the team jersey, hat, and logo. It left many in attendance wanting a piece of Quincy merchandise already.

"It will be a bold uniform" said Wallace. "Bold, bright, and it'll stand out. Exactly what we want for our organization!"

The Lumberjacks Triple-A affiliate will officially be called the Quincy Firedancers

I'd applause for days if Michael Scott was a manager someday with Dwight Schrute as the bench coach.

Even Halpert was a manager for a while and don't forget Jeff Smith in Albany or Josh Porter in Stamford

Haha I’m running out of names. Can’t take the Big Eyed Fish, Proudest Monkeys, and Marching Ants with me I don’t guess.

I’m actually heading to Quincy in 2 weeks to see DMB at the Gorge in Washington. Beautiful place to watch some concerts.

I’m actually going to let my three boys name the mascots of three of my teams now and told them each to pick 3 colors for uniforms. So whatever minor league teams I have next will have been created by a 15, 10, and 8 year old.
