2062.81 Charlotte Prospect Watch-Right Field

This is the 8th article in my series taking a look at the top prospects in my organization. This article will cover the right fielders.

1 The top prospect on this list is Bharti Senagala. He was brought into the system in a trade with Las Vegas. He could have been listed on several position lists since he can play pretty much anywhere on the field except the mound or behind the plate. Senagala has just about reached his potentials offensively, which are 5/5/6/6. In the outfield, he has 7 range, 5 error, and 7 arm. As an infielder, he has 6 range, 6 error, 7 arm, and 5 turn DP. He appeared in 3 BBA games in September without a plate appearance after a fantastic AAA campaign. While with Richmond, he played in 133 games, slashing .299/.380/.481, with 21 doubles, 5 triples, 20 home runs, with 78 RBI. Senagala was very good in AA last season as well. He will likely get some work in the dev lab this offseason to make him a better fielder in both the infield and the outfield.

2 The number two prospect on the list is Tom Boyd. He is in my IC with potential ratings of 6/5/5/5. The 17 year old left handed hitter has 7 outfield range, 4 error, and 6 arm.

3 The third player on this list is Salman Tamir. He was a scouting discovery in 2056 and has had a mixed development curve since then. At 22 years old, he still has work to do in order to reach his potentials of 5/7/5/3. He is a solid defender, especially on the corners. Tamir finally broke through with some statistical success in 2062, slashing .290/.359/.413, with 13 doubles, 6 home runs, and 24 stolen bases in 76 games. It will be interesting to see if he is able to build off of that in 2063.

4 The final player on this list is Victor Sandoval. He is a 19 year old who was originally signed as an IAFA in January of 2060. His development has not been great and he is far from reaching his current potentials of 6/5/5/3. He is a solid defender in the corners. He has yet to do much offensively in rookie ball and hopes to improve on that in 2063.
