With the 2058 season in the rear view mirror, we now shot our focus to 2059. One of the key pieces of information that comes out at this time of year is the order of the upcoming draft. The order takes into account the team’s record from the previous three seasons. Now that Charlotte has found more success on the field, they are moving down the draft board.
In 2059, the Flyers will make their first selection with the 15th overall pick. They should be able to find a quality prospect at that point in the draft. At least they hope so. The team traded away some of their top prospects over the last couple of seasons on their quest to get back to the postseason and try to make some noise. They were successful last n reaching the postseason but need to get there again and try to get deeper if they want to feel as though they got value for their highly regarded prospects.
