The three friends went to a local pizza place to have lunch and continue hanging out for a while.
Andres: Yo, Luke, did you see where the GM from Bikini was saying how he wants to trade for you? It might be rumors or whatever, but isn’t that the guy your dad played for?
Lucas: Nah, I didn’t see that. What did he say?
Andres: I don’t know. I just saw somethin’ on social media where he made some comments about how he really wanted to see you in Bikini.
Lucas: Maybe he said he wanted to see me in a bikini and they heard him wrong.
Ricardo: I mean, with your girlish figure, he might want to see that.
Lucas: Shut the hell up.
The three laughed and then McNeill continued.
Lucas: I’ll tell you what though. I’m never going to play for that man. Ron Collins is his name. I’ve got a grudge against that guy.
Ricardo: Why’s that?
Lucas: Man, my dad likes him, but I heard how he wouldn’t call my dad up because he didn’t want to pay him. And the way he wouldn’t let my dad finish his career in Yellow Springs? That wasn’t right.
Andres: What do you mean?
Lucas: I mean, my dad was gonna play one more year and Collins shipped him off to Charlotte instead of letting him finish his career where it started.
Ricardo: Damn
Lucas: Right. They made up and Dad went back to coach for him but it still makes me mad when I think about it.
Ricardo: I get it man. That don’t seem right.
Lucas: That’s also why I’m so glad I got drafted by Charlotte. I want to do something with Dad’s last team that Collins could never make happen for my Dad. I’m gonna win a Brewster here. And I hope we do it against Bikini.
Andres: All right man.I’m here to help you with that then.
Ricardo: Me too, Luke. Let’s kick his ass.
