Fans calling for changes in Charlotte
This poem has been showing up on social media platforms all across North Carolina. It has recently been turned into an online petition that has already been signed by hundreds of fans in just a few days. Will the front office agree with this stance or will they go another direction?
Our Dear Charlotte Baseball Team
(A call to our new front office)
The team has been bad.
The fans are all sad.
A new general manager has come.
Some players are great
But most we just hate.
And our prospects? The future is glum.
One look at the minors
All dull with no shiners
The time for rebuilding is here.
We all want to win.
Can’t be now. Must be then.
Rebuild this poor team we hold dear.
While rebuilding our team
A rebrand it would seem
Would make sense to the fans of this crew
Our home where you ball
Has no Cougars at all.
Please think of our home as you do.

I have a cousin who lives fairly close to the area. He works in that field and moved there because of how strong it is there. Ha
