It has been learned that the Charlotte Cougars Front Office has had a rather stern tongue-lashing discussion with league officials responsible for setting schedules. A quick review of Charlotte's schedule shows why the Charlotte brass should be upset.
Sure, spending the first two series of the year on the road can be expected every now and then. But, you might expect some time at home to follow the trip from Charlotte up to Maryland and then back down to New Orleans. And yeah, the Cougars got to spend the next week at home. And then they go straight back on the road for an entire two week period! Of the Cougars' 27 games in April, 17 are away games!
You could at least expect an early season schedule like that to be a little easier on the team at the end of the season, right? Not for the Cougars! Charlotte will spend 14 of its final 26 games of the season on the road, to include 10 of the team's last 13 games.
Its hard enough trying to dig out of the cellar in the Atlantic but with a schedule like the Cougars have, the league is certainly not being very helpful.

Reports are League officials sent their own study and released the statement: After looking closer, Charlotte will play 81 home games between April and September.
Haha
I’ve had similar schedules. Took advantage of my heavy home one this year in April to jack up ticket prices while interest is HIGH.

Yeah, hopefully we can cash in before we get to September when people decide not to show up anymore.
