No, Brazini is not a new pasta that you havent tried. Emilio Brazini is a starting pitcher for the Charlotte Cougars that was recently called up from AAA Richmond, and is expected to be a part of the Cougar rotation in 2043.

Brazini was part of the deal that sent SP Amos Swallows to Edmonton. Brazini finished up his last four starts of 2041 in AAA Richmond and had a decent year there this season as well. Brazini started 29 games, going 11-11 with a 4.12 ERA over 168.1 innings. Brazini, a lefty, brings great stuff and above average movement to the table however, his control can get away from him sometimes. He has an elite fastball and splitter with the potential for a great change-up that has continued to improve this season.

Brazini was called up to Charlotte on September 1st and was immediately thrown into action, getting his first start on September 2nd. Things didnt go so well (rumors are, he decided to spend a little too much time with "old friends" during his return to NYC.) Brazini only lasted 4.1 innings, giving up 6 earned runs (3 HRs)with 3 walks and i strikeout in a 8-6 loss to Brooklyn. In his next start against San Antonio, Brazini seemed to settle down a little, giving up 2 earned runs (1 HR) in 5.1 innings while walking 6 and striking out 5.

However, on his third start, Charlotte fans got to see what the Front Office hopes to see from him for many years to come. Against Charm City, Brazini threw a complete game, 5 hit, 1 earned run game with 2 walks and 2 strike outs.

Brazini is expected to get another shot at Brooklyn later this week. Hopefully this time he will spend a little more time eating Mom's home cooking than he does "catching up" with old friends.

That change is to the point it is at least passable as a 3rd pitch.

He looks like a good young pitcher, and certainly will be more predictable than the knuckleballer you traded away.

So far. Swallows still has developing to do.

Interesting pitcher. If he grows a little control, he could be special.

Keeping my fingers crossed.
