C-Notes 2041.8 - Richardson Makes a Splash

The quick ascent of SS Quinn 'Short Stuff' Richardson was written about in a recent team news for the Charlotte Cougars. The 2040 #1 overall pick is making a push to join the big league club this season. After spending last season in Short-A Adirondack, Richardson was tearing up AA ball and was the MVP of the AA All Star Game before earning his promotion to AAA Richmond.

Triple-A ball doesnt look like its going to be much of a challenge for Richardson either, if his first week in the league is any indication.

In his first 7 games with AAA Richmond, Richardson is turning heads with his .357/.455/.893 performance. Richardson went 10 for 28 with 3 doubles and 4 HRs, scoring 8 runs while driving in another 8, along with 5 walks to only 3 strikeouts. And while Richardson did have one error in his 61 innings, he is on pace to record a career high range factor.

Big things are obviously coming for Richardson, here's hoping the GM Golden can manage to put together a BBA team worthy of what Richardson can do for the team in Charlotte.

Looks well worthy of the #1 pick overall, got some decent bumps early on too. He’ll need a big trophy room soon with all those awards he’s picking up already. OSA wants shooting for putting him as the #68 prospect lol
