C-Notes 2040.3 - Filling Out the Minors

The third press release put out by the Charlotte Cougars today addressed the remaining levels of their minor league system.
Owner John "Ghost" Weber: The location and mascot for our Single A squad will be Danville, VA. Yes, Danville is another of those small towns full of hard working people. Let's give them somewhere they can have some fun on those hot and humid summer nights. Let's give them the Danville Dodos!
Our Short Season A team will be found in a place I grew up in. There has been a minor league hockey team here forever and the fans have supported whatever team was there, no matter how they played. Back in the day, the White Sox even had a minor league team here. I'm ready to give the town another shot and let the people show they can get behind this team. Let's turn those NYC and Boston team followers into Cougars fans once they know these kids on a person level. Let's let them start out as Adirondack Beavers!
Lastly, our Rookies. Well, the people of West Virginia are hard core sports fans. They'll be supportive of our team. Welcome your Elkins Buzzards!
