The week started with 2 games in Rockville, completing a 3 game set against the Pikemen.
After winning the opener on Sunday, the Flyers guaranteed a series win with an 8-1 win in game 2. Mauro Martinez was good for 6 innings and Fawwaz Amin tied the franchise record with 3 doubles in the game. Amin ended up with 4 hits and 6 RBI.
The Pikemen got their revenge in the series finale with a 12-3 win. Little Johnny Rasmussen only retired 3 batters but allowed 9 runs, 4 earned in the loss.
Josh Clark earned his 4th win of the season in the opener against Atlantic City, aided by Andy Bishop, who had 3 hits, including a home run, on the day.
The Gamblers then won the next two in convincing fashion to win the series. Game 2 was a 15-3 blowout and game 3 was a 6-1 final. Charlotte starters Carl Vincent and Tokugawa Yamashita got knocked around pretty good in those games.
The Flyers then had to travel to Brooklyn to face a Robins team that swept them at Family Dollar Field last month.
In game 1, Little Johnny returned to form, allowing just 2 runs in 8 innings and Dallas Dixon had 4 hits as the Flyers won 9-3.
Charlotte won the next game 8-2. Mauro Mendoza struggled with his command but allowed only 2 runs in 5 innings and Fawwaz Amin hit 2 home runs and drove in 5.
