C-Notes 2050.06 - GM Golden Remaining Calm

We've certainly seen the chaos that Charlotte Cougars GM Brett Golden can rain down when he is not happy. With pre-season predictions having the Cougars winning somewhere between 90-100 wins, the Cougars instead finished 1 game below .500 with a measly 80 wins, their lowest total since the 2046 season, the "chaos watch" on GM Golden has been in effect for some time now. But with the end of the regular season being over and the Brewster Series about to start, it seems GM Golden has found some inner-zen, seemingly handling the situation better than anyone would have thought.

When asked about the season, GM Golden had this to say:

"I've gotten away from The Plan® so how can I be upset about the results. Our owner, Mr. Weber (my Grandfather), said he wanted to see the team increase our HR totals. Well, we did, by almost 30 more HRs than last season. 164 HRs - the highest total the Cougars have ever had. We've also had one of the lowest totals of stolen bases since our inception too."

"And our attendance figures? Our lowest total since the Cougars second year of existence, and we almost didnt beat that mark! And, we actually lost money this season! Gramps is going to have to be okay with being mad at me - we're going to fix these things and we are going to do it by getting back to The Plan®!!"

"Oh, and one last thing, this Pythagorean guy....who the eff ifs he? We constantly are near the top in the leagues if we use however he determines wins and losses. But, since we dont.....screw him! Why do we even have to show his BS wins-and-losses for a team? Its very demoralizing!"
