Hammer Block 2049 (update 11/21)

Post by cheekimonk » Sun Nov 21, 2021 8:31 pm

Still need to get under the cap...plus some guys are just blocked or blocking. Inquire about anyone including superstars:

Prospects

P Cyrille Santorio - 59 G at MLB level last year

1B Abel bin Husam al Din - Switch-hitter

2B Octávio Ordóñez - Keeps ending up blocked, but still a solid player

RF António Saucedo - Ditto

P Darren Asseldonk - Every team needs a player named Asseldonk

LF José Martínez

Pitchers

SP Mokichi Yamamoto - Seems to sit right at that AAAA spot, but very useful given his stats and ratings

P Sixto Hernández - Can be a SP if one goes down

P Jaypee Estancia - See above

P Ragnvard Lamm - Another one but he seems more comfortable in the pen

RP You-cheng Hang - 101mph power pitcher

Position Players

C Baden Dutton - Offense & defense are solid but not overwhelming. Got other catchers coming up the ladder

2B Octávio Ordóñez - Prospect and a good one.

2B Joe Race - AAA player that has minimal MLB exposure. Vastly more offense than 2B Atissi Mbamba, but doesn't even touch the latter's defensive flexibility.

3B Felipe Soto - I think prospect Miguel Moya is very close to taking his spot permanently if he already hasn't

Domingo Torres - OF utility player

RF Pedro Esquivel - The manager pushed hard to include this guy in the starting lineup (hence only 101 G)...he was right
