UMEBA All Time HR leader can't find a team?!
Wow! David Hall can't find a job in the UMBEA!? Hard times man, hard times indeed.... 64 dingers not enough for anyone to take a flyer on one year deal for the UMEBA all time HR leader. Kicked the curb for a 22yo cheaper power hitter from Istanbul for J-Town.

Thats another thing I don't get with OOTP, Hall is insignificant your not telling me if someone like Hall joined a team there wouldn't be a buzz.

I think a lot of BBA teams have tried to steal him on a minor league deal. I might have even toyed with the idea of a BBA deal if I’d have had any money for FA’s, it would have been interesting if he could have added anything to a woeful Wichita lol

He’s only a 40 overall in BBA - AAA a 60. But I’d figure someone in the UMEBA would grab him

With contraction, I'd guess the overall quality of each UMEBA team would rise a bit.

I was planning on doing a player profile on him sometime this week and his struggles with unemploymentCTBrewCrew wrote: ↑Sun Sep 06, 2020 11:56 pmWow! David Hall can't find a job in the UMBEA!? There's a few who lost a job because of contraction, Drew Hair 20+ home runs, 80+ rbi the past two seasons. All Star MVP in 42, 1B Great Glove last season.

Seemed like everyone had budget issues. I find it funny that Hair wants so much money for putting up good, not great stats in UMEBA.

Re: UMEBA All Time HR leader can't find a team?!
I had a number of players that had 40 overall ratings that I had to not give arbitration offers to because the expected arbitration values were so high relative to what free agents are going for. When a 35 overall or 40 overall player will make $4-$5 million in arbitation that's just too much.
The problem is, that after becoming free agents, they won't even talk to me saying we are too far apart --- even when they are demanding much less than they would have gotten in arbitration.
