Bancroft Help.

Post by Clayman » Wed Jun 03, 2020 9:56 am

For the guide book this year I'd like to ask each of the Bancroft GMs a question, if answered I'd like the board consider giving each GM a pp reward as they will have participated in the guide book. I'd be willing to give some of my pp from the guide to those GMs who answered their question, anyway the questions are below so please just answer your question.

You will also see there is a question missing, the Athens one. Obviously I can't ask myself a question so if any Bancroft GM wants to ask me a question then please do so.

Bucharest

Xavier Pérez pitched from the bullpen in 2041, in 2042 he was in the starting rotation. With a $2.5m renewal will it be bullpen? Rotation? Or may we even see him swinging the bat in 2043?

Jerusalem

Will Jerusalem avoid game 163 in 2043 if so which Hammers player will step up to avoid the nail biting of 2043?

Beirut

A drop off at the end of the season saw Beirut go from play off certainties to 4th in the league, if you are to avoid this again which player needs to drag the Cedars across the line?

Mumbai

If Mumbai are to get back into play off contention which player do you see as the foundation stone you'll be building on?

C.S.K.A.

Who will be the leader of the C.S.K.A. Army in there expansion season?
Athens Fighting Centaurs 2051 75-87
Athens Fighting Centaurs 2049 72-81
Valencia Stars 2045-2047 185-301
Beirut Cedars 2044 90-72
Athens Fighting Centaurs 2042-2043 112-118
Cairo Chariot Archers BC 2041 8-5

This one seems easy, 3B Michael Best, has been asked to lead this group of gung-hos.
The rest of my team doesn't have 162 games between them last year.

My question for you is, (forgive me I'm a vegas guy)
Over/Under Wins +/- 85 (85 wins in an inaugural season is impressive, be damned If I get that many)
....In short, we ain't nuthin' but a band of Gypsies....

The Hammers believe the huge jump from jose villareal will continue to leap in production; his w/l record did not do him justice, but we believe he can be an Ace as he matures. If he can lose less next season, this will help the hammers. We also believe blake bell will be a huge contributor on the offensive side of the ball.

Sorry. World’s spinning right now.

For me it would be Baden Goulding. I can’t wait to see what the rookie can do. He’ll be great in the field and should be above average at the plate. Another guy I’m excited to build around is Alonso Olvere. Still only 25, he hit .355 in 31 AB’s as a late season grab.
