Balauri Introduce Joe Lederer as New GM
The local media welcomed Joe Lederer as the new manager of the Bucharest Balauri today.

The 59-year-old native of The United States was questioned for several minutes by reporters about his goals and hopes for the club.

Some local media are praising the signing as a good one, while others feel Lederer is in over his head.

Hebrew Hammers Win Tight Bancroft League Race

"We're not done yet!"

That was the resounding sentiment in the Jerusalem Hebrew Hammers locker room when they were told they had clinched the Bancroft League title, for the 1st time. With a 95-66 record, Jerusalem's stars certainly feel like they have a good chance to go all the way.

"We've learned a lot under Clancy Shanahan's tutelage this year. He's taught us to never be over-confident, and to play every game like a championship game. I think with him and the team we have, we have a great chance to bring a 1st championship to Jerusalem this year," said reliever Bob Murray.
