The Pilots have just wrapped up a series with the Moscow Thunder Bears, winning two of three.

Before that, they won two of three against Athens, and before that, two of three against Buenos Aires.

"Keep winning series," Manager Filipe Murillo said after today's 1-0 victory. "With just fifteen games to go, eleven games behind Brisas, you know, there's not much hope for this year. But with all the recent contract extensions, most of these guys are gonna be here next season. We might as well win some games and get ready for that. Two out of three? That's always a good thing."

One thing is for sure, Pilots fans would love to go 2-1 over the final five series of the season. But to do that, the lineup is going to have to get more runs than they did today.

"Moscow is a good defensive team," Murillo said. "All the credit in the world to them. Fortunately for us, we managed to slap one out of the park. They didn't. That's baseball."

Owen Geddes led today's 1-0 victory over Moscow from the mound, throwing one hundred pitches, allowing five hits, and racking up eight strike outs.

Enrique Rodriguez hit a solo shot in the eighth inning, the lone score of the game.
