Sao Paulo’s Letter to the Brewsterians
Sao Paulo: The St. Paul of South America
You might not think you know a lot about Sao Paulo.
But you know more than you think.
Sao Paulo is Portuguese for San Paolo, which is actually Italian for St. Paul. See, it’s easy!
What else? Well anyone familiar with Brazil will be able to tell you all about the city. It doesn’t have the beach of Rio de Janeiro, the Carnivale of Rio de Janeiro, the Olympics of Rio de Janiero or the massive giant Jesus on the hill of Rio de Janiero. And all these amazing tourist attractions make it the perfect marketing opportunity for RAMJACK Venture Capitalism, the newest private equity kid on the block.
“RAMJACK look for value, and what we see in Sao Paulo, is value”, said Executive Coach Stan H. Stansman. “Too often, value gets lost in the equation, but if you have value, and value is real, well that’s value you have to have, and we at RAMJACK, we value that value”
Being a macro-opolis like Sao Paulo, which means a really big place, means that space is of a premium. RAMJACK immediately saw an opportunity and built a baseball stadium much smaller than was practically useful. It’s called the Ballpark of Bucharest, named after a pet Coati named Bucharest that died in the arms of a Hungarian workman, when both were buried under 15000 tonnes of concrete.
“The ballpark dimensions play havoc with pitchers’ self-worth. This has two major effects. First, pitchers ask for less money. Second, when you drive down some else’s self-worth, you actually feel better about yourself. And I feel pretty great right now, I can tell you”
So do we, Stan, so do we.
Adam Barber, showing early signs of low self-worth
