Last year, after draft, we move some draft direct to majors. This year no do same. Bucharest stay same roster as before. But below Bucharest? We make complete different.
Reason? We get 20 draft picks--- all top talent. We also sign 42 players were no draft. We need make room in minors. So...
We move fourteen players from AA Asuncion to AAA Luanda, eight of which teenagers. We move older AAA players out to pasture, including some excellent major-league calibre players. Some draft picks go directly to AA, but most go in A Jakarta and R Tianjin. And five of those 42 we let go, we just no find room.
End result is minor leagues no great teams this year like usual (except maybe Luanda). Average age in Luanda drop from 29 yo to about 25 yo. Among all BBA and UMEBA teams, we now youngest players of all teams in AA (average=20.44), and A (average=19.64).
But potential is through roof. I think no team in UMEBA or BBA have better minor prospects than us.
Rookie league starts play this week, but no expect good results --- we very young and inexperienced.

I think this is an excellent idea. I am stealing it. The goal is to win at the ML level, and winning it all AA with 25 year olds is meaningless. The goal is to develop the kids. Did I mention I am stealing your idea?allenciox wrote: ↑Sun Dec 20, 2020 11:45 amWe move older AAA players out to pasture, including some excellent major-league calibre players.... You should check the legal drinking age in Luanda. This could be trouble.
This makes one wonder whether Bucharest should be broken up or moved to MBBA in the name of parity. What an idea....
