A New Face in Town
(Jerusalem, Israel) There was some head scratching in Jerusalem with the hiring of relatively unknown General Manager, Jesse Stollings. Owner Khalig Rajput sent his private jet from Karachi, Pakistan to North Carolina to get Jesse to Jerusalem as quickly as possible. Rajput, reached by phone, stated that even though Stollings was an unknown in the GBC he had been earning his stripes in the minor leagues around North Carolina. While not well know outside of his home state, around the Tar-Heel state he was known as the man who could see the potential and avenues to turn teams around, and that is what Rajput wants him to do in Jerusalem.

Rajput made it very clear that it was time for a new direction with the Hammers and was ready to let Stollings loose to work his magic. While on the flight from Raleigh to his new home, Stollings poured over the rosters and personnel folders of the current staff and players on the roster. He started a Zoom meeting with the current staff to get their input on where things are with the team and what they felt needed to happen to start the process of changing the culture with the team.

When Stollings landed he spoke briefly with reporters to state that he had talked to some of the players about contract extensions on his flight. When asked how they went, Stollings smiled and said, "Some good, some bad...cant worry about what isnt going to happen." The rumor mill is running rampant with possible staff hirings and extensions already in the works.

The reporters asked Stollings for a more detailed analysis of the team when he replied, "I just got here, let me get a chance to at least take a shower first." Kelly, Jesse's secretary, let the reporters know that he will be providing a more detailed report on the players after he has a chance to evaluate everyone.

The assembled reporters grudgingly agreed that to provide the analysis they craved, they needed to give him time to see how things are. However, numerous free agents have let it leak they have gotten calls from the Hammer's staff. So maybe some changes will occur sooner rather than later.
