2048 Pitching & Defense Review
Jerusalem struggled to reach the middle of pack in most team pitching and defense stats which is strange because that's typically GM Ben Teague's main focus. There were pitching issues, starting with projected ace Gary Goodchild completely collapsing to one of the better performing starters, Mokichi Yamamoto missing roughly half the season with injury.

2047 Pitching
IP 1448.2
SO 1124
ERA 4.40
FIP 4.17
WAR +20.1

Going forward the team just must get better and more predictable production from the pitching staff. Defense is not great so it needs a bump as well, but that's more of a Jenga puzzle than the staff & bullpen.
