THE Hammer
25 Aug 2048
Jerusalem, Israel
**********************************

Beirut Cedars 77-51 .602 - L10: 7-3
Manama Pearls 68-62 .488 GB 10 L10: 5-5
Jerusalem Hebrew Hammers 63 66 .488 GB 14.5 L10: 4-6
Baghdad Kings 63-66 .488 14 GB 14.5 L10: 6-4
Riyadh Red Crescents 44-85 .341 GB 33.5 L10 4-6

HAMMERS OF THE SIM - SIM #21

Ahh, the dreaded mediocre Sim...you can't yell, but you can't kick back and smile either. The Hammers turned in a 3-4 Sim that dropped them an entire game in the WC chase. Now tied with Baghdad while both of us are 4.5 back in that regard. They were all close games with the exception 0-10 loss to Beirut in the 2nd game of a 3-game stretch.

PITCHER

SP Hsuang-tsung Xú
25 G 25 GS 9-6 3.79 ERA 1.29 WHIP 2.9 WAR

Now that's the Sang we've come to love. In a game at home vs Riyadh, Xú baffled hitters through 7 innings of 1-run, 6-hit ball striking out 6 and walking none. Xú came into the season as the solid #2 in the rotation and may take the mound on Opening Day 2049.

BATTER

RF António Cordero
72 G .285/.366/.419 4 HR 31 RBI 10 SB +1.7 WAR

Doing this is cool when you see a typically unknown player have a great enough one to outside the usual suspects. In Sim #21, [url=https://statspl.us/brewster/reports/new ... 53548.html]CF Tyler Pavey with down day-to-day with an ankle sprain. That gave the starting duties to Cordero and he responded well: .304/.407/.478 1 RBI
