THE Hammer
7 July 2048
Jerusalem, Israel
**********************************

Beirut Cedars 56-31 .644 - L10 7-3
Manama Pearls 46-43 .517 11 GB L10 8-2
Baghdad Kings 40-46 .465 15.5 GB L10 3-7
Jerusalem Hebrew Hammers 39-49 .443 17.5 GB L10 7-3
Riyadh Red Crescents 32-56 .364 24.5 GB L10 2-8

HAMMERS OF THE SIM - SIM #14

More than a few excellent outings from starting pitchers this Sim allows Jerusalem to go home and lick wounds while All-Star kids have all the fun. Took 5-2 in Sim #14 and, as mentioned, it was a true team effort.

Pitching

17 G , 17 GS, 6-4 Rec, 3.29 ERA 1.26 WHIP +1.6 WAR

Xú has taken the reins as the ace of the Hammers' rotation and he may be just that. Xú started the Sim hosting Beirut and he welcomed the visitors by tossing 6 IP of 3-hit, 1-run ball with 6 Ks and 4 BBs. Next time he took the rubber it was in Baghdad. Xú spoiled the party there going 6.1 innings allowing 2 runs and fanning five. That gives Xú a Sim of 12.1 inn, 11 H, 3 R, 11 K

Batter

.288/.333/.428, 7 HR, 29 RBI, +1.2 WAR

C Baden Dutton is a staple in the Hammers' lineup and the opposition knows it. Some guys have to pickup the production lost when Adam Backhouse went down for the season and Dutton is a key piece to that. In this Sim Dutton slashed .350/.381/.700, 2HR, 3 RBI, 3 R
