PITCHER OF THE SIM - SIM #6
Jerusalem Hebrew Hammers 17-21 6 GB (division leader Beirut Cedars)
The danger of mood swings. Jerusalem bounced on 5 wins last week, posted just 2 wins in this Sim. And it had large ramifications...wait, no it didn't. After the dust settled, the Hammers are still 6 GB, but the other teams in the middle of the pack have gained ground and/or passed Jerusalem. It's almost pucker up time...but not quite. It's a long way from here to there.
PITCHER OF THE SIM - SIM #6
SP Edwin Harney
1 GS 3-3 2.58 ERA 0.93 WHIP +1.3 WAR
I think we're watching a champ putting it all together and/or enjoying his new digs in Jerusalem. Harney's start was @ Riyadh on the 8th which came down to the Hammers scoring 2 in the 9th win. Harney allowed 5 hits and walked 2, but didn't walk anyone and dealt 8 Ks.
