So with the abbreviated season that in no way counts for anything (unless we had won the title in which case it would be totally legit) out of the way, lets dive in and look at the greatest UMEBA franchise that will ever be, the Jerusalem Hebrew Hammers.
Based in the holiest city on the planet Earth, the Hebrew Hammers are looking to quickly establish themselves as the royalty of the league so to speak (fingers crossed). The team was the first to dabble in the trade market and has been uber aggressive in signing free agents this offseason and working to flesh out the entire organization with younger and better players.
Starting in 2038 the team will play in The Holy Land, a state of the art 28,000 seat stadium built in the heart of downtown Jerusalem. Many had been clamoring for the team to actually be based in the financially stronger city of Tel Aviv but the club put a lot of importance on both the philosophy behind the creation of the entire league (the peace talks based in Jerusalem) and on the cultural as well as religious significance of the city itself. The details of the brand new park are listed below.
So it would seem due to elevation and the dry weather, The Holy Land is gonna be a launching pad. Should be pretty exciting for the fans. Even more exciting? These sweet new jerseys...
