Due to current trends within the Global Baseball Consortium, the Sydney Sharks are announcing strategic competitive adjustments to the roster. Wearne has made 27 starts for the Sharks over the past two seasons. He has now been traded to the Pilots in each season. Hall leaves second all-time in Sydney franchise history in saves. Trzcinski put together a 2.12 ERA in 15 relief appearances as a Shark. All three are on expiring contracts.

The Sharks welcome former first round pick Costello, a 23-year-old who debuted in 2060 and has since made 58 appearances with a 4.24 career ERA.
