The Mumbai Metro Stars are hanging onto a slim lead in the Bancroft League. Following a 10-3 loss to the Bucharest Impalers, in which the Metro Stars handed the Impalers 4 unearned runs, thanks to 6 (count 'em: 6), the team was scheduled for extra fielding practice the next day.

The Metro Stars got back to basics, and 3B Bodil Sellevoid, who committed 2 of the 6 errors, atoned with 2 HR in the next day's 10-2 drubbing of Athens.
