Highlights: The Metro Stars scored three runs in the top of the 5th to break open a close game and go on to defeat the Balauri 4-2 Monday night at the Ballpark of Bucharest. Second baseman Gilbert Hansen delivered the big blow in the decisive inning, smacking a 2-run single between first and second off Balauri starter Reggie Gascoigne.

Player of the Game: Reggie Gascoigne, who allowed 4 runs in 6 innings with 8 strikeouts.
Cliché of the Game: “We’ve got guys willing to do what it takes to win,” said Gilbert Hansen.
