Hughes, and then scored all the way from first on a line drive double to left off the bat of shortstop Garrett Barnett. Third baseman Robbie Hart singled to shallow center, moving Barnett to third. He scored a moment later when center fielder Michael MacCrain hit a sharp single between third and short.

The Cedars were trailing 2-1 in the 8th, when they parlayed two walks and a wild pitch from reliever Lyndon Rosebotham into runners at second and third with two outs. Mumbai brought in León González to face DH José González, who promptly singled home both runners.

Player of the Game: Takeshi Tanabe, Mumbai starter, who allowed 1 run and 5 hits in 7 innings of work.
