Bucharest jumped on Mumbai starter Denilde Trovisqueira for three runs in the first inning and never looked back as the Balauri cruised to an 8-2 victory Monday. Key offensive contributors included second baseman Edgardo Pagán, who smacked a two-run homer in the 1st, and third baseman Laurent Fernandez, who went 2 for 3 with a 3-run homer in the 8th.

The Metro Stars came from behind late to nip Bucharest 7-5 Tuesday evening at the Ballpark of Mumbai. Going into the bottom of the 8th, Mumbai trailed 5-3 but scored four runs to take the lead. Key blows included an RBI single by shortstop Joe Curry and a two-run double by right fielder Wilbur Green.

Slugging right fielder Wilbur Green smacked a two-run homer in the bottom of the 1st inning to give Mumbai a lead it never surrendered en route to a 3-1 victory over Bucharest Wednesday. For the game, Green went 3-4 with 1 homer and 2 RBIs.
