55.11 Monarchs Make Another Trade to Bolster Their Rotation

Once again trading from their strong farm system, London sent two ranked prospects along with four veterans to Buenos Aires today to land All Star starting pitcher Ielemia Faletose to pair with All Star Jerry Bourque atop their rotation. Bourque also arrived in trade this season, coming over from Jerusalem.

Also joining the Monarchs organization will be veteran CF Joshua Koka and two young pitchers, Michihiro Tanaka and Pedro Sánchez. Sanchez is ranked #27 among Brisas prospects.
Heading to Buenos Aires will be former first round pick Abdel Abdul-Samad, who is ranked as the #31 overall prospect in the GBC by BNN, and as the #6 prospect in the Monarchs organization. The 24-year-old is a right-handed starting pitcher with three plus pitches, including a nasty slider.

Joining him will be 23-year-old starting pitcher José Méndez, who was an international signee out of Puerto Rico when he was 16. He is currently ranked #71 by BNN, #9 among Monarchs prospects.
Also going to the Brisas organization will be veteran 1B Odemar Lock, veteran 2B José 'Tiny Bubbles' Rodríguez, and two veteran starting pitchers, Jeremy Donahue and Darren Asseldonk.
