After a dizzying two week period that involved signing minor league deals (with a major league option) with London, getting picked in the Rule 5 draft only hours later by the Hebrew Hammers, packing up and moving to Jerusalem, and now repacking and returning home to London, catchers Steven Bonney and Luis Colón are exhausted, but happy to be back.

The starting catcher job in London belongs to the veteran António Ruíz, but the backup job is wide open. Both Colón and Bonney are expected to compete in camp for the position, alongside existing backup catcher Mario Rolo and the newly signed free agent Ángel Martínez. Sources say that the club regrets signing Martínez, but that their hand was forced after losing three catchers in the Rule 5 draft.
