Beirut's All Time Career Homerun and RBI Leader will not Return!!

Shortly after the grueling game 7 lost to the Manama Pearls, many reports and front office personnel around the league wondered if Long time Stalwart, and two time Captain, 3B Antonio Baca would return to the team. These questions went unanswered for weeks as The Beirut Cedars front office reviewed and evaluated both existing and future talent inside and outside the organization. As the Offseason began my sources inside the Beirut Organization have told many that "several" conversations have taken place between GM Brian Hughes and Antonio Baca. According to a source close to the situation Hughes asked Baca to return Multiple times as a Hitting Coach but Baca still wanted to continue his career. Baca 31, has been a dynamic weapon for the Beirut Cedars over the last 5 seasons. Over that time frame he has been a leader and the all time leader in many statistical categories such as Games Started, Hits, Home Runs, RBI's, and all time war at 14.8!! Baca also in 5 seasons with the Cedars was an All star each year, he is a two time BURT Great Glover, and a One time Platinum Stick award winner.
