A Very Early Look at 2045 for the Cedars

Post by BrianH » Thu Dec 03, 2020 2:16 pm

Well we are approximately two weeks into the regular season and the Beirut Cedars currently sit at 7-5. Which is not a bad record at all but there is reason why Cedar fans and the front office expect even bigger things to come. Only three Cedar batters are currently batting over .290, last season there were 7 guys, and the other 4 guys still remain on the active roster. Liam Dalton the best pitcher for the Cedars has yet to make his debut due to a finger blister that should have no long term effects. Now, not everything is all optimism. The Cedars did lose one of their best up and coming RP to start the season in RP Mariano Moreno with a torn UCL, and two of the veteran SP who has sub 5 ERA's last year in Charlie Iron-Knife and Sherwood West both have gotten off to rough starts (6+ ERAs), but the season is still very early. We will have to continue to keep our eyes open to see how this year will go. So far the Cedars front office and fans seem to be encouraged, lets see how they feel a month from now.
