Estrada Back to Back #8 & #9 @ Manama.

It must have been a bitter sweet taste for José Estrada, the Cedars had come of a nine game road trip were they compiled a 5-4 record but had lost the last two against Manama. Bittersweet that is as in those two defeats against the Pearls José had been given the Cedars Player of Game Award in both games.

Top of the 2nd and Estrada reached base on a single of the pitching of Maxim Makin, Makin was picked up by Beirut GM Neil Thomas in his Athens days in the Centaurs inaugural season of 2042. He reached 3rd on a Wilton Rivera single and crossed the plate on a António Baca single, he again reached base with another single of Makin this time however the scoreboard wasn't troubled.
Makin got his revenge in the 6th when Estrada hit a long fly ball that nestled in the glove of Joshua Koka in centerfield, on his next visit to the plate Estrada would reach base for the third time when Ken Spencer threw a 4 pitch walk, a defeat but José Estrada could hold his head high.
#9 Beirut Cedars 2 @ 4 Manama Pearls.
In his previous game against Manama he got the scoreboard ticking in the 2nd getting on base with a single, eventually crossing the plate on a Wilton Rivera single. This time however he'd do the job all by himself with a solo home run of the pitching of Vladimir Reichel in the 2nd, a single in the 5th would be the end of carrying his team as he groundout to Reichel in the 6th and struck out to Netuno Markert in the 8th.
