In exciting news from the world champions London Monarchs Tyler Pavey will return for the 2059 season. Pavey will return next season on a 1 year 5.5 million dollar deal. GM Spencer said Pavey is the type of player we want to identify as in London. We believe in being strong defensively up the middle and Tyler is exactly that. Starting in 110 games last season he had a 17.0 Zone Rating and only committed 2 errors all season. Rated as an 8 overall in CF he is one of the top defensive CF in all the GBA.We are aware of Paveys injury struggles and we might try to ease the load some this year, but when we need defense we believe we have one of the best on this club.

In addition Pavey stole 22/25 bases and had a 110 OPS+. If you can find a CF who can field, run, and being a threat with a bat in your hand you have something special. London had the best pitching in all the league last year and Pavey was a big part of that. Manager Jack gulliver said that guy just settles the pitchers down and just allows them to throw the ball. They don't have to worry about being perfect because they know they have someone like Pavey behind them that will catch the mistakes. Without Pavey I am confident the Monarchs don't make the post season GM Spencer said. We are hoping to keep as many guys together as we can from our championship club. We are still working on some other guys at this time and hoping they will also return.
